Washington State:
Manufacturers are required to report if their children’s products contain any chemicals included on Washington State’s list of Chemicals of High Concern to Children by January 31, 2024. The list comprises over 85 chemicals that must be reported annually. The deadline applies to children’s products sold or offered for sale in Washington between January 1, 2023, and December 31, 2023. Reporting should be done through the Interstate Chemical Clearinghouse’s IC2 High Priority Chemical Data System (HPCDS).
Oregon:
Under Oregon’s Toxic-Free Kids Act (TFK), manufacturers who sold or offered products containing CHCC between January 2022 and December 2023 must submit reports for the 2024 reporting period.
