The Toy Association™ is set to reveal the hottest trends shaping the toy industry in 2024 during its Toy Trends Briefing on February 8. This highly anticipated event will showcase the playthings predicted to drive sales growth across various categories throughout the year.
Adrienne Appell, Executive Vice President of Marketing Communications at The Toy Association, shared a glimpse into what the audience can expect: “In 2024, toy aisles will feature a diverse range of trends, from toys and games centered around specific fandoms and infused with magical elements, to playthings designed to meet the evolving developmental needs of today’s youth and cater to families’ diverse purchasing preferences.”
The presentation on February 8 is the result of extensive collaboration between The Toy Association’s trend team and leading toy and kids’ entertainment companies. These collaborations involved hundreds of long-lead meetings to uncover emerging play patterns and provide a sneak peek into the products expected to dominate the holiday season in 2024.
The briefing will delve into some of the major influences on toy and game purchases in the upcoming months, featuring product examples from companies of all sizes and types. The presenters will also share insights derived from tracking trends in parallel industries such as social media, technology, fashion, and more. The session will conclude with a Q&A segment, allowing participants to engage directly with the presenters.
Presenters at the event include Adrienne Appell, Kristin Morency Goldman (Senior Director of Strategic Communications), and Jennifer Lynch (Content Developer). Anne McConnell, Senior Director of Market Research & Data Strategy at The Toy Association, will moderate the discussion.
Companies interested in having their products considered for the presentation, as well as other broadcast opportunities, articles, and media placements throughout the year, are encouraged to reach out to The Toy Association’s trends team. Priority consideration will be given to Toy Association member companies.
Registration for the press conference is free and open to all, providing industry professionals and media representatives with an exclusive opportunity to stay ahead of the curve in the dynamic world of toys and play.
